Ricardo began his martial arts training in the early 1980's. He studied the arts of Karate and Ninjitsu Iga Ryu. After a long absense, Ricardo returned to the arts in 2000 under Sensei Vincent DeStefanis. Training in Kempo with Sensei Vinny has opened up another door to the world of the arts for Ricardo

Ricardo continues to train with Sensei Vinny and has recently earned the rank of Nidan (2nd Degree black belt )  Sensei Vinny not only teaches the physical skills of Martial arts to his students but also demands that his students become knowledgeable about the philosophical values which accompany martial arts. 

He is an outstanding Instructor and he has earned my respect.
